Duchess of York visits Ruddi's Retreat in Slaithwaite
The Duchess delighted everyone outside Ruddi's cafe in Slaithwaite when she visited on 21st July as part of her visit to Yorkshire.
We were invited alongside the other primary schools in Slaithwaite by Ruddi's. Miss Lockwood accompanied just a few of our children who took with them some very colourful posters/signs made at school. When they met her, they bowed and curtsied. She spent time talking with the children and gave them a special pencil all the way from London. After she had been inside Ruddi's the children formed a guard of honour for her to walk through on the entrance way to the Church.
